OMTA/OCF Nellie Tholen District Enrichment Project
This grant provides teacher enrichment programs for each district outside the Portland Metro area. Funding comes from money donated by Nellie Tholen to the Oregon Community Foundation. Upcoming programs are listed here.
Nellie Tholen Endowment Fund Grants
District presidents may also apply for funding from the Nellie Tholen Endowment Fund to pay up to 85% ($800 maximum per district) of the expenses of bringing in a presenter. Only one Endowment Grant is available per year per district. Submission deadline is September 30 of each year.
OMTA Foundation Continuing District Technology Assistance Grant
Districts that have exhausted the one-time $1,200 District Technology Support Grant may apply for additional funds to support the technological needs of their district. This new (2024) annual grant of up to $500 total will be distributed between all applying districts.

MTNA Affiliate Matching Grant
MTNA Affiliate Matching Grants provide financial assistance of up to $750 to any state or district for the purpose of professional development, continuing education or member involvement. Submission deadline is May 1 of each year.
