There are many OMTA events to look forward to this year, and Regista is up and running to get your students registered to participate in them! Most of you had an opportunity to use the new event registration system last fall, and we’ve made a few additional improvements since then.
Because change can be hard and so can using new technology, OMTA is offering a “Help Desk” hour once/week, on Tuesdays at 10:00 AM through March. If you wish to join, check the link in the email that was sent to the membership or email Heidi Evans, NCTM for the link. Hope to see you there, and if there’s no issues to discuss, we can have a fun coffee chat!
Tips & Tricks
Here’s a list of helpful tips, tricks, and reminders to aid in a smooth Regista experience.
- Make sure your MTNA dues are renewed for the 2025-2026 year. This process takes up to a week to make its way from MTNA to OMTA, so don’t wait until the last minute.
- Create a log-in and password for the OMTA website and click “Remember Me.” For help with resetting your password read these FAQs.
- Problems logging in? Contact us at [email protected]
- Syllabus questions should first be addressed to your Syllabus chair. They can forward questions up the chain-of-information if needed.
- Festival questions should first be addressed to your Festival chair. They can forward questions also, if needed.
- Register a week early to avoid last-minute crises.
- Plan to pay 1-2 days early so you don’t miss out if you have computer issues.
- CAUTION – do not click Check Out until ALL students are registered for the event. You only pay ONCE, but once you pay, you cannot add additional students for that event. Once you have entered EVERY student and ALL their repertoire and choices for this event, you can check out.
Save Checking Out for the last step, keeping the deadline in mind. Checkout must be completed before 11:59 pm on deadline day. - If you’re having trouble with Regista, try logging out and then logging back in again.
