Annual Syllabus Adjudicator's Retreat
Tualatin Valley District invites all OMTA members to join us for this FREE virtual workshop by Leila Viss. Leila will be presenting: “Keeping It All Together When Life Falls Apart” with “Blossoming Within Boundaries: A Recipe For Budding Composers”.
In this lecture Dr. Crystal Zimmerman will focus on music and the brain, demonstrating that there is no one singular part of the brain which responds emotionally to music.
This lecture will use humor and interactive activities as well as practical tools and help.
Dr. Tutunov will share his experiences from his training at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory and the Belarusian State Conservatory.
This lecture/workshop gives you the tools and practice techniques to eliminate mistakes (and the terrible fear of mistakes) entirely from your playing.
In this virtual workshop, Dr. Tutunov will work with individual teachers from the Lincoln County District in an open lesson format. Four teachers will play for Dr. Tutunov from 10 am-Noon and then again from 1-3 pm. Virtual Platform: Zoom
