MTNA National Conference
March 16, 2019 - March 20, 2019
The MTNA National Conference, held annually, brings together the most representative cross-section of the MTNA membership. Conferences include master classes, technology and informational sessions, pedagogy sessions, exhibit hall, evening concerts, national competitions and much more. Members have an opportunity to participate by submitting proposals and papers for presentation.
The 2019 MTNA National Conference is in the works! Plan now to attend the conference March 16–20. Renowned pianist Ingrid Fliter and the award-winning Transcontinental Saxophone Quartet will highlight the evening recitals. Alan Walker, preeminent Liszt and Chopin scholar, will provide the keynote address based on his newest book, Fryderyk Chopin: A Life and Times. Pedagogy Saturday boasts five tracks: Entrepreneurship, Musician Wellness, Recreational Music Making, Teaching Artistry, and Teaching those with Special Needs. And, all the annual favorites like the Exhibit Hall, showcases and the MTNA National Student Competitions will be back!
Details are being firmed up every week. Check the MTNA Conference page for all the details.
