2025 was a banner year for young and emerging composers across Oregon. Twenty-eight students and twenty teachers participated in this year’s State Composition Festival, showcasing an exciting range of original works.

Each honored composer is eligible to apply for the Regional Composition Celebration which then in turn recommends students to the National Composition Competition.
