OMTA District Enrichment Grant

The OMTA Nellie Tholen District Enrichment Grant provides two two-hour Teacher Enrichment Programs for each local association. Smaller districts are also receive a two-day workshop annually. Upcoming programs are listed here.

Grants for Teachers

The following opportunities are available to OMTA members who are 18 or older, to further their education. The deadline for each is October 15. The amounts available are dependent upon the funds, and the number of successful applicants.

The Roberta Davie composition study grant of up to $500 is available to OMTA private teachers integrating composition into their studios.

The Albert Nakata grant is to be used to assist in continuing education for OMTA members who are 18 or older.

Frances & Constance Bittner Memorial Grant

The Frances and Constance Bittner Memorial Grant is available to help offset the cost of attending a Pedagogical Conference. It cannot exceed 50% of the actual cost of the conference.
